| Dr. Martin joined Ark-La-Tex Cardiology, APMC in July 1996 adding to the four-man group of Dr.'s Brown, Davis, Wiggins and James Smith. Growth has continued with thirteen physician partners to date to serve the cardiology demands of Northwest Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas. |

| Dr. Martin grew up in Shreveport, LA graduating with honors from Calvary Baptist Academy. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas receiving a B.S. in Biology. He returned to Shreveport and began medical school in 1986. |

| Dr. Martin graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine - Shreveport, LA in 1990. He completed his residency in internal medicine at LSUMC, earning the Dr. James H. Campbell Memorial Award for Outstanding Intern, the Upjohn Achievement Award for Excellence in Medicine Outstanding Resident Award and the LSU Department of Internal Medicine Outstanding Resident Award. Dr. Martin also completed his cardiology fellowship program at LSUMC - Shreveport, LA. |

| Dr. Martin began practicing cardiology in Shreveport in 1996. He is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. Dr. Martin is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow in the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is a member of the American Heart Association, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the Shreveport Medical Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. |

| Dr. Martin specializes in Adult Cardiovascular Disease performing both diagnostic and therapeutic coronary interventions. He is skilled at balloon angioplasty, coronary stenting, rotational atherectomy, and complex coronary interventions. He performs diagnostic testing including nuclear stress testing, stress echocardiography, and transthoracic echocardiography while maintaining an active clinical practice. |

| Dr. Martin is married since 1986 and is blessed with a precious wife and two children. He is a Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church. He serves on the Advisory Council for Baptist Academy. He is a Founder and Director of Cavalier Youth Football where he has coached since 1999. He enjoys participating in family activities, coaching his children's youth sports teams, high school athletics, and golfing. |
